Jubelland Day Care Centre Donation

Cha Inn Moon -  March 5, 2014

The Football Foundation of South Africa has been able to reach out to another special community this week!

The Jubelland Day Care Centre in Stanford reached their twenty-year anniversary this February 2014 and has grown increasingly through the years from a total of ten children to one hundred eighty children to date. The Centre holds multiple programmes such as their crèche and afterschool day care service for children, weekend projects for the youth, and skills development projects for the elderly and disabled.

Recognizing their increasing need to support ongoing service and learning programmes, the Football Foundation has been very keen on providing needed assistance. Last Friday, a total of one hundred t-shirts and nine tracksuits that were previously donated from the Marcos Senna Foundation were distributed at the Centre – young girls and boys were seen with smiling faces as they received their t-shirts.

Our active commitment to be involved in our local communities is strengthened through opportunities such as this and we hope that through this donation, more groups such as Jubelland Day Care Centre continue to grow and improve the lives of many of those in need!
